I've been involved with Mary Kay for 25 years having worked in the dental field prior. Being one of those 110% people who received more responsibility (without pay) for my extra effort, I was looking for something more. A looming decade birthday pushed me off the fence and I decided that I would never know unless I tried it out. I was a squeaky clean, no makeup girl working in a clinical environment. Like many women, I didn't know what to buy or what to do with it, so I did little if anything in the way of makeup. I realized quickly that regardless of age or background, women want to look good. We just need someone to advise and teach us how to do it-enter the Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. I did very well and after 14 months earned my first MK car and became a Director. Since then, we have earned 15 cars, including 5 pink Cadillacs, many diamonds and jewels, awards and prizes.

Today, Mary Kay is the #1 Skin Care and Color Cosmetic Company in America and I feel it is because of innovative products and a system that teaches women how to get the desired results. I love showing woman how beautiful they can be and teach them not to be "flaw focused." One of my projects this year is to compile a Business Women's Networking Portfolio. I am doing makeovers, and taking before and after pictures. Each woman has her own page including her business card and bio.
