Susan Levinson, Nuturing Organics

Listen to Susan

Susan Levinson was so delighted to have found Powerful You! that she started a chapter in the Metuchen/Edison area where she lives. Susan is a woman who is always open to growth and the exploration of new possibilities. Her primary passions are: the empowerment of women, holistic health and wellness and the creation of a sense of abundance.

In 1998 she spent 10 months living and working in Sydney, Australia as a software developer and trained as a personal coach. In 2000 she brought the coaching company to the USA and was instrumental in making it an international company. She is a certified business and executive coach and has trained and mentored other coaches. She is the co-president of Events to Empower Humanity (www.EventstoEmpowerHumanity.org) an organization that raises awareness about the sustainable end of hunger and supports The Hunger Project www.thp.org and Partners in Ending Hunger – www.endhungernow.org.

Susan Levinson has been interested in whole foods and healthy living for more than 36 years. She participated in the first Earth Day celebration in 1970. In the past 2 years she has been a member of a community organic farm. While she was very careful about what she was eating and feeding her family, she was pretty trusting about the personal care products she used. At a visit to her dermatologist told her not to use a product that had parabens in it. She was curious and did a web search and along with some discussion about parabens she found ONEgroup http://nurturingorganics.mionegroup.com and the following information.

  • The average adult uses 9 personal care products daily exposing them to 126 chemicals
  • 89% of the 10,500 ingredients in personal care products have not been tested for safety.
  • Over the last 30 years only 9 of the 10,500 ingredients used in personal care products have been banned or restricted
  • 1/3 of all personal care products contain 1 more ingredients classified as possible human carcinogens

Does this shock you? It shocked Susan and when she took a good look at the ingredients in the products she was using she decided it was time to go organic. ONEgroup has the world's FIRST extensive range of certified organic skin, body, hair, oral and health care products. Others may contain some organic ingredients, but none of them can carry an international certifying body's logo to authenticate their certification. The products are certified to the highest food grade standards the ACO (Australian Certified Organic) and the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture).

Treat your skin to an organic diet of energizing herbs, healing plants, soothing essential oils, nourishing fruits and nuts and strengthening vitamins, courtesy of nature itself. You’ll look naturally beautiful, feel healthier, and have the personal satisfaction of contributing to the support of both sustainable agricultural practices and environmentally friendly companies.

Susan loves to coach people to become healthier, create wealth and stand for a sustainable planet. Her goal is to build a dynamic team of people who are committed to positively impacting the lives of people, environmental sustainability and abundance. She would love to have YOU join her team.

Susan Levinson has a BA in Biology and an MS in Computer Science. She has been married to Ed for 40 years and they have 2 grown children. Their daughter, Rabbi Melinda Zalma, is the rabbi at Congregation Beth Mordecai in Perth Amboy, NJ. Their son Michael lives in Los Angeles and is a production designer and art director. In her spare time Susan enjoys sailing, working out with a personal trainer and photography. She created her own web sites using her photographs as the background.

Ashley Montague said, “I want to die young at a ripe old age.” Susan Levinson is grateful for the many wonderful things and people in her life that keep her young and vibrant as the numbers that represent her time on the planet keep growing. She wishes that yours keep growing for a very long and healthy time too.
