Adele Azar-Rucquoi |
An Arab-American who spent nearly two decades with the Sisters of St Joseph in Florida, Adele Azar-Rucquoi now writes from her home in Central Florida and conducts workshops on money & spirituality. She holds a BA from Manhattanville College in New York and an MA in Religious Education from Barry University in Miami. Having taught for many years in Florida parochial schools, Adele distinguishes herself these days as an activist & writer, her words frequently appearing in many national magazines and her hometown newspaper, The Orlando Sentinel. Adele was a founding member of the Foundation for Mideast Communication and she continues to work for peace between Arabs & Jews. She was for many years the Director of the local chapter of The International Thomas Merton Society and she has led workshops in prejudice reduction, conflict resolution, and leadership training. “My greatest joy is finally seeing money through spiritual eyes and accepting it as part of God’s overflowing abundance.”
