As the founder of the by-appointment, private shopping experience, Doncaster has enabled savvy women to dress beautifully for 75 years.

Maria Cable is an experienced Sales Manager and accomplished speaker with over 12 years in the fashion industry. She graduated from Hood College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and began her career at Bloomingdales working as an assistant personal shopper. Over the years she has given numerous presentations to a variety of organizations which include: The Women’s Real Estate Association of San Diego, The Women’s Bar Association of San Diego, and the Society of Female Physicians of San Diego. Most recently she has given presentations at: The Association of Black Women Lawyers, Women-A Work in Progress 2006, JP Morgan Chase Private Banking Group, Fashion, Finance and Balance a Morning of Discovery for Women, Biba Networking Group, and Powerful You! Networking Group. In addition in February 2006 she successfully staged the first-ever fashion show at Carnegie Hall for The Whiteweld Foundation.

Currently, Maria is responsible for business development for Doncaster in northern New Jersey: recruiting, training and developing Wardrobe Consultants to sell Doncaster branded apparel. She is a talented speaker and presenter who enjoys training and motivating others.

Maria is a firm believer in giving back to her community and has been an active member of The Junior League of Montclair-Newark since the year 2000, serving on the Executive Board of Directors in 2005-2006. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Women’s Club of Glen Ridge and on the State Exchange Council for the Junior League’s of NJ. She is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives and is a facilitator for ‘Powerful You!-Networking with a Heart. Maria is married with three children and lives in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
