Sheri Desaretz

Sheri Desaretz is a professional coach who supports business owners, professionals, people experiencing life transitions, and those who are simply “stuck”, in their quests to achieve success not only in their work lives, but as human beings as well. Sheri works with her clients to assure that each of their goals, whether in the realm of business or personal life (and usually both), is addressed from the inside-out, based upon her belief that one cannot make external changes without understanding who we are and why we do the things we do!

Sheri’s career and life history have enabled her to be particularly well-suited to the coaching profession. Sheri is a “recovering” attorney and lifelong entrepreneur. Her eclectic work experience has taken her from her early days as both a bicycle messenger and taxicab driver in New York City, to the formation, ownership and operation of a trucking company, and on to a twenty-year stint as an attorney, owning and managing her own Philadelphia and New Jersey based law firm. Her extensive legal and business background and exposure to a rich diversity of life styles and situations, together with a deep interest in supporting others in their desire to grow, has brought Sheri to yet another fulfilling career in professional, business and personal coaching. She is the founder and president of Looking Forward Coaching, LLC.

In addition to her involvement in her private and group coaching practice, Sheri often presents community programs, workshops and trainings on a variety of topics. Amongst others, these address work/life balance, time management and organization, business networking and marketing, small business ownership issues, transition concerns (both career and personal), issues affecting professionals and executives, interpersonal communication, self-esteem, learning how to say “No!”, and more. The goal - to enable clients to discover and create the time, resources and intention to live a life that addresses who they really are and to afford them the self ownership and integrity we each deserve.
