Terry Harrigan

Terry Harrigan has worked in the mortgage industry since 1999. She started by working with people in foreclosure and doing difficult loans for people in need. She currently does loans for all types of clients, specializing in helping people who have poor credit, no credit or those who are in bankruptcy or foreclosure. She feels that most anyone can help a client who has good credit close their loan. The key to this is being able to compete on rate and having excellent customer service.

Prior to the mortgage industry, Terry worked as a programmer in the computer field for 15 years for Accenture, Anderson Consulting, Merrill Lynch, and Brooks Fashions. Her career prior to the computer field  was working in a psychiatric unit at St. Vincent's Hospital where she did individual and family therapy. She met her husband Bob while working at the hospital (he was a staff member!) and they worked together there for 5 years.

Terry Harrigan graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York. She took computer science classes in the evening while working full-time in order to effectively change her career from mental health to computer programmer. Later, she simultaneously worked and educated herself in the mortgage industry before leaving the computer field.

Terry takes a consulting approach when dealing with clients, and works with each person to carefully determine the best program for them. She keeps in touch with clients on a monthly basis after the loan closes to ensure that they continue to have the most effective financing for their needs.

Terry helps people to organize their finances so they can be able to achieve what they want most in life. Getting a mortgage should not simply be a way to finance your home. It can and should be much more. Call me to see how you can reach retirement goals, save for college or a dream vacation

When not working, which is not often(!), Terry spends most of her time with her husband, Bob, their 2 children, Bryce and Kelsey, and their very fat cocker spaniel, Freckles. She loves vacations of any kind and cruising seems to be a favorite the past few years.
